Everything you might ask.

Quick answers for billing, platform changes, syncing, widgets, and daily usage in HabitKit.

Can I switch Pro access between iOS and Android?

There is currently no fully automatic cross-platform transfer flow. If you switched phones or platforms, contact support and include the RC ID of your old and new device, and access can be transferred manually. Find it under Settings › General › Debug › RC ID; tapping it copies the value.

How do I upgrade from subscription to Lifetime?

At the moment, upgrading directly from an active subscription to Lifetime is not available in-app. The current workaround is to cancel the subscription, let it expire, then purchase Lifetime. Your habit data stays intact.

Why can't I purchase outside the App Store or Google Play?

Payments are handled directly by Apple and Google. HabitKit cannot process payments outside those stores and cannot override store-level restrictions for purchases.

Where can I manage or refund my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed in your platform store account. On iOS, use Apple's subscription and refund flow: Apple refunds. On Android, use Google Play's refund flow: Google Play refund support.

I purchased Pro but Restore Purchases does not work. What should I check?

First, confirm you are logged into the same App Store/Google Play account used for the purchase. Then disable VPN/DNS filters temporarily and try Restore Purchases again. If it still fails, contact support with your receipt and RC ID (Settings › General › Debug › RC ID; tapping it copies the value).

Why are some features limited in the free version?

HabitKit is developed and maintained by a solo developer. Limits in the free version help balance a useful free experience with ongoing development, maintenance, and long-term app quality.

Can I request new features?

Yes. Feature requests are welcome and directly influence planning. If an idea is a good fit for HabitKit, it gets added to the feature backlog and prioritized with other upcoming work.

Does HabitKit sync across devices?

Cross-device sync is currently in development. Right now, automatic syncing between devices is not fully available yet, but it is actively being worked on for a future release.

How do Custom Value and Completions Per Day work?

Completions Per Day defines your daily target (for example, 20 push-ups). With Step By Step, you tap once per completion. With Custom Value, you can enter any number directly (for example, 5, 7, or 20) instead of tapping repeatedly.

Can I track values above my daily goal?

Yes. Edit your habit, set a higher Completions Per Day target, and turn on "Allow exceeding" in the Completions Per Day section. It keeps counting once you pass the daily goal, which works well for workouts, distance, and other count-based goals.

Apple Watch workout automations are not triggering. What can I try?

Try restarting both your iPhone and Apple Watch. If that does not help, toggle Bluetooth off and on again on your iPhone. This issue can be related to Apple Shortcuts automation behavior.

My Android widgets look broken after a system update.

Some recent Android/One UI versions introduced widget system regressions on certain devices. If widgets appear broken, restart the phone first and re-add the widget. If the issue remains, contact support with your device model and Android version so it can be tracked.
